11th edition of the Procura Awards

The Barcelona Bar Association of Court Procurators (ICPB) is a public-law professional corporation whose main aim is to ensure that the actions of its members respond to the interests and needs of society in relation to the professional practice of court procurators. Likewise, the ICPB is responsible for ensuring compliance with good practice and the ethical obligations of the profession, as well as protecting the interests of users and consumers of professional services. It also aims to regulate, represent, and defend the profession of court procurators.
The ICPB annually hosts the Procura Awards, created with the aim of recognising individuals or legal entities who have stood out in upholding the values that contribute to a better justice system. The Procura Awards, which hold great reputational value for the community of court procurators, acknowledge specific projects and professional careers, while also considering attitudes and actions that help to strengthen the legal role of the court procurator. Each edition grants three awards: the Annual Procura Award, the Career Achievement Procura Award, and the Solidarity Procura Award.
The ICPB commissioned Intermèdia to co-organise the 11th edition of the Procura Awards, as well as to manage all communication tasks related to the event. The ceremony, which Intermèdia had already organised on previous occasions, aimed to give visibility to the profession of court procurators within the legal sector and broader society, while also serving as a festive celebration for the ICPB's own members.
A three-person team from Intermèdia, in full agreement with the client, analysed how to improve the conceptualisation of the event compared to previous editions, established a communication plan (including actions before, during, and a few days after the awards), and took on most of the organisational tasks. These included coordinating with the venue managers at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, and managing most of the suppliers (hostesses, photographer, furniture setup, audiovisuals, presenter, music group, etc.).
From the very beginning, regular communication with the client was key to achieving the objectives and ensuring the success of the event. Among the agency’s main responsibilities were drafting the event script, writing the awardees’ merits, managing the event’s social media, reviewing the space to accommodate up to 300 people, and supporting the ICPB in sending digital invitations to authorities. Intermèdia also handled media relations.
